Kaila Ferrari

Kaila Ferrari is a global storyteller who explores the intricacies of human-wildlife coexistence. She currently works as the Manager, Writer & Content Specialist at Rare, a conservation organization that uses behavioral science to drive social change for people and nature. Kaila creates powerful digital stories highlighting local communities and behavioral solutions related to coastal fisheries, regenerative agriculture, and biodiversity. 

Her fieldwork experience includes monitoring piping plovers and rehabilitating seals on Cape Cod, tracking whales in Southern California, and conducting educational safari tours at The Wilds in Ohio. Kaila previously served as Senior Digital Content Specialist at the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), where she led editorial content covering an array of wildlife rescue and conservation topics. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Human-Animal Studies from the University of Redlands.
