Madeline Beattie

Madeline is the Global Environment Facility Project Manager for the Blue Nature Alliance at Conservation International. In this role, she leads on the Alliance’s relationship and reporting with the GEF and assists in the implementation of the Alliance’s global portfolio of ocean conservation engagements, working in close collaboration with a wide range of partners and practitioners. With a Masters in International Relations from the University of Chicago, Madeline is interested in exploring conservation solutions that both serve to protect the natural environment and help to ensure the well-being of the communities that rely on it. 

Outside of work, you can find Madeline whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, and hiking whenever possible. Her passion for conservation is rooted in her love for nature and she enjoys spending time outdoors getting to meet new people and experience new places.
