Anna Wearn is the Director of Government Affairs for the Center for Large Landscape Conservation. In this role, she develops and advances policies that reconnect habitats and promote collaborative conservation at the landscape scale. This entails assisting state and federal policymakers, as well as local communities and stakeholders, to protect native fish and wildlife migration and to fund projects that allow species to safely cross over and under roads.
Previously, Anna has worked for the National Forest Foundation, the Natural Resources Defense Council, the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources, and the Center for Natural Resources & Environmental Policy. She has also led ecology programs in national parks and forests in the western U.S. She holds a Master of Science and a Graduate Certificate in Natural Resources Conflict Resolution from the University of Montana, as well as degrees in Geography and Spanish from Dartmouth College.
