Jeff is currently a Senior Program Officer at the Chesapeake Bay Trust in Annapolis, MD where he works on several restoration programs that protect and restore wildlife habitat, engage communities, and increase greenspace in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Previously, Jeff worked for the Wildlife Habitat Council where he helped large corporations manage and enhance their land holdings to benefit wildlife. He also worked for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, and continues as Co-Director for the Terrapin Institute. He has served on Governor appointed task forces relating to reptile, amphibian, pollinator, and fisheries conservation, and remains active in natural resource and conservation issues on national and local levels. Jeff’s passion for wildlife developed early, both from exploring the outdoors with friends and family, and when his parents brought home a Fowler’s toad as his first pet. Jeff grew up in Baltimore, MD and studied Biology, with a concentration in Ecology, at Towson University.
