Marc is the Zoological Curator at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park in Eatonville, Washington, where he manages the animal care operations of the park and oversees the entire animal collection. Additionally, he was worked in this role to advocate for the conservation of regionally imperiled species, such as grizzly bears, fishers, and northern leopard frogs. Previously, Marc worked in several roles ranging from animal keeper to Zoo Director at Niabi Zoo in Illinois. He started his career working at the Kansas City Zoo in Kansas City, Missouri. From 20212-2015, Marc served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Zoo Conservation Outreach Group (ZCOG), a nonprofit coalition of zoos, aquariums, and related partners dedicated to promoting wildlife and habitat conservation throughout the Americas. Marc studied biology at St. Ambrose University in Iowa after growing up just across the Mississippi River in northwestern Illinois. His childhood was often spent wandering the forest – an activity he continues today.
