Melissa Fenton is the Associate Director of Corporate Engagement at the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS). She is a nonprofit development professional with over seven years of fundraising experience, specializing in corporate relations and global conservation initiatives. Melissa has demonstrated success securing major grants from corporations and managing complex donor relationships. At WCS, she works closely with field colleagues in over 60 countries globally to develop funding opportunities for a wide-range of initiatives, including species conservation, protecting vulnerable ecosystems, and advancing nature-based climate solutions. Melissa earned a Certificate in Corporate Sustainability from NYU Stern School of Business. She also received a Master’s of Arts in Animal Behavior and Conservation from Hunter College and a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at Stony Brook University.
